Meet My Mentor’s Wife

Recently, my wife Courtney, my two sons and I had dinner with long time friend, Gwen George.

She has been married to my mentor, J. Don George, for 53 years.

(I know, I know-they married very very young back then)

While on vacation in Palm Beach, I found out that she was in town at the same time we were, so we met up, to catch up.

Normally when I am with Gwen, I am with Pastor George, and he and I do most of the talking.

It was a great joy to let her meet the boys and to get to spend some more time with Courtney.

Life Lessons Learned From Surfing

I have surfed several times before (on the East and the West Coast) but I decided to take a refresher course to further sharpen my skills (or lack thereof).

What I learned afresh is some great guidance not only for catching a good wave, but catching a good life.
