As Pastor Chris wrapped up the series, “The Most Interesting Man Who Ever Lived” this week, he said some things that moved me to view my actions and reactions differently.
~Jesus is everything that God was ever trying to say to man.
We, as believers, must take who Jesus is and what He did seriously, applying to our everyday lives all that He has extended to us. When we focus on Jesus and his graceful and sincere love, a love He has poured out freely, we are able to share that with others. Everyone is struggling with something and I believe it’s our responsibility to be the glimpse of hope they can find in Jesus Christ.
Down through the years there have been questions raised as to whether or not Jesus heals today.
The ideas are always poised with the perspective of “it is not whether Jesus can heal; it is whether He does heal”.
However, as we look at scripture it sheds light on three elements that are always present anytime Jesus healed someone:
1. The Word of God
2. The Presence of God
3. Faith in God
