One Prayer: God Is Good

This week we heard from Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC.

His One Prayer message, taken from the children’s prayer we all used to say, was called, “God is Great, God is Good”.

Pastor Furtick said, “God is SO good that He wants better for you than you want for yourself.”

One Prayer: God Is Father

This past Sunday was incredible.

We heard a special message from Pastor Craig Groeschel about how God is our perfect father.

He said He was patient, forgiving and intimate.

What a refreshing message on the power of Gods love on Father’s Day.

One Prayer: God Is Strong

This week we continued in the series, One Prayer. This year’s theme for One Prayer is “God is…”

This weekend we reflected on how “God Is Strong”.

You know, God is the strongest man in the universe and we are His children.

Too often God’s children don’t reflect God’s strength.

Because we don’t focus on God enough, our churches are filled with people who are weak, and don’t look like or act like or believe like or behave like their dad is the strongest being in the universe.
