Today we continue learning from Elijah.
I Kings 17:9 (NIV) “Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food.”
I think that when Elijah heard the phrase, “I have commanded a widow to feed you there”, he thought back to when the Lord said, “I have commanded the ravens to feed you there”.

We talked about divine direction. As you remember, Elijah went to a place where God provided supernaturally.
Every now and then, verse 7 happens to our lives.
I Kings 17:7 (NIV) Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land.
Why did the brook dry up?
Was it because Elijah had been disobedient and God was punishing him?
Was it because he made a dumb decision?
