What if I told you that there was someone your child was hanging out with named Stevie?
Stevie is going to show them 14,000 sexual encounters this year.
This year Stevie would also show them 11,111 murders or violent acts.
If you found out that Stevie was showing all of this to your children, would you continue to allow them to hang out with him?
Better yet, what if you found out that your child’s teacher was showing him or her all of these things?
The fact is, by the time a student graduates high school, they will have spent more time in front of a TV than in a classroom.

We have been talking about our new Internet Campus recently and I want to take time to introduce you to the Internet Campus Pastor, Bernadine Young (twitter, blog). We recently found out (via a tweet from DJ Chuang) that she is most-likely, the first female Internet Campus Pastor ever!
CHRIS As a leader who is a woman, what advice would you have to other female leaders out there? Specifically, those that work in contexts that are dominated by men?

As you may know, Courtney and I just celebrated 10 years of marital bliss.
I know, I know. You are thinking, “You guys must have gotten married when you were 12”.
10 years is a big deal.
That means that I have been married to Courtney 1/3 of her life, we have made it beyond the 7 year danger zone of marriages, and we have become comfortable, but not complacent in our love for one another.
