This is a guest post written by my incredible wife, Courtney Foster. You can connect with her on Twitter.
This week my husband brought another amazing message of grace.
He said, “Everything about Jesus’ life conveyed one simple message: Grace.”
I’m so thankful that God is merciful and full of love for us.
- But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 NKJV)
As Jesus was preparing for His final hours on earth, he went to pray to His Father in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Gethsemane means: the pressing place, or the olive press.
Jesus was pressed in the garden, but He pressed into God, and pressed through.
- Mark 14:32-36
When you’re at a breaking point, pray, “Lord, let your will happen, not mine”, because you never know when your breakthrough will come.
- Mark 14:37-42
About this time last year, Jesus healed me. I was 7 months pregnant, and was in a massive amount of pain in my back. I prayed for healing, and as I was praising God during our Palm Sunday service, I felt Him whisper to my spirit, “Your healing on its way.” I didn’t realize until I got in my truck that afternoon that He had healed me!
Pray through, until you get a break though!
