What if I told you that there was someone your child was hanging out with named Stevie?
Stevie is going to show them 14,000 sexual encounters this year.
This year Stevie would also show them 11,111 murders or violent acts.
If you found out that Stevie was showing all of this to your children, would you continue to allow them to hang out with him?
Better yet, what if you found out that your child’s teacher was showing him or her all of these things?
The fact is, by the time a student graduates high school, they will have spent more time in front of a TV than in a classroom.

Nothing in life compares to the significance of pursuing the high calling of God. Think about it for a moment. Do you know what God is calling you to? In our busy and hectic lives it is easy to miss it. How do we know what He is calling us to? There certainly are a lot of good things we can be doing with our time; yet, the more important question may be “Are we doing what God wants us to be doing?”

We have been talking about our new Internet Campus recently and I want to take time to introduce you to the Internet Campus Pastor, Bernadine Young (twitter, blog). We recently found out (via a tweet from DJ Chuang) that she is most-likely, the first female Internet Campus Pastor ever!
CHRIS As a leader who is a woman, what advice would you have to other female leaders out there? Specifically, those that work in contexts that are dominated by men?
BERNADINE I truly believe that women make an impact on our world through their leadership.
